Dan joined the Residence Life staff in 2013. As the Associate Director of Residence Life, Dan provides full-time advisement to the Greek Life community at Lafayette College. He oversees the recruitment process for both fraternities and sororities, provides community wide programming and facilitates leadership development activities. Additionally, Dan is the primary advisor to the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils and Order of Omega Greek Honor Society. Dan coordinates housing for the Greek chapter houses and manages fraternity meal plan enrollment.
Dan is an active member of the Greek Advising community. He has twice facilitated a session of the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI), sponsored by the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). He is also a graduate of the Interfraternity Institute (IFI), sponsored by the Fraternity Executives Association (FEA), as well as the NOVAK Hazing Prevention Institute.
Dan’s previous work experience includes Golden Key International Honour Society where he coordinated chapter development and expansion for the Society and at Adrian College (MI) in Residence & Greek Life. Dan earned his M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration & Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina. He also earned a BA in political science & Spanish from Northwest Missouri State University where he was a founding father of the MO-Theta chapter of Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys travel, being outdoors, classical music, cooking, college football, the arts, politics, and is a car enthusiast.
