Galentine’s Day
On February 15 we had our two annual Galentine’s Day events! We celebrated by painting picture frames and participating in a service activity; our members decorated tactile Valentine’s Day cards to give to local visually impaired people. We learned how to write Valentine’s Day phrases in Braille, and wrote them on the cards. We also partnered with two Easton high schoolers selling t-shirts to benefit blood cancer research. We loved getting to meet them at our event!

Sophie McAvoy
COB Spotlight: Sophie McAvoy
Hi! I’m Sophie and I participated in COB this spring semester! I chose DG because I felt that all the girls were really inclusive! Talking to everyone made me feel like I had known them already for a few years even though some of them I had just met! I could tell from the beginning all the girls cared about each other and their chapter which made me realize that DG is where I wanted to be! My major is civil engineering and I’m from Pasadena, Maryland!

Living Room
Renovations
We were lucky enough to have our living room and kitchen redecorated this past semester. Our members are very excited about this, especially those currently living there! The addition of the new living room furniture allowed for the previous furniture to be moved to the basement, creating another space for our members to hang out and do work.
