Sponsored by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA), the competition is one of 24 official regional tournaments being held across the United States in February. More than 500 teams from 350 colleges and universities participate at the regional level. Eight teams from each competition advance to the opening round championships in March, leading to the selection of 48 teams that will compete in the AMTA National Championship Tournament April 13-15.
