Rose Willey ’14 Alpha Gamma Delta competes in National Putnam Math Competition

Rose Willey ’14 Alpha Gamma Delta a mathematics-economics, participated in The six-hour exam, called the “world’s toughest math test” by TIME magazine, consists of 12 questions, each worth 10 points. Fewer than half of the participating students receive a positive score.

William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition is an annual mathematics competitionfor undergraduate college studentsenrolled at institutions of higher learning in the United States and Canada. The exam has been offered annually since 1938 and is administered by the Mathematical Association of America.
