There are many ways that parents or family members can get involved in their student's fraternity or sorority experience. There are many ways that you as a parent or family member can get involved in your student’s fraternity or sorority experience. We encourage you to research the chapter your son or daughter is thinking about joining¬†or has joined.

Students affiliated with fraternities and sororities have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of events and build essential leadership and life skills during their college experience. Sororities and fraternities become the home away from home for all of their members. You should feel the same comfort when you come to visit.

A Message Concerning Unrecognized Organizations:

At Lafayette College, we welcome the opportunity for students who are eligible to participate in Greek-letter organizations. The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life will annually track the performance of recognized organizations by an annual Accreditation Program. Additionally, the FS Life office will publish semester or annual reports related to Academic performance and organizational conduct. If you believe that your son or daughter has been recruitment or is an active member of an unrecognized organization, please contact the FS Life Office staff.
